UKASFP Conference 2013
The 10th Annual Conference of the UK Association for Solution Focused Practice is being held in Birmingham – where the UKASFP started over ten years ago. The conference is being hosted by the team at Change Birmingham Brief Therapy which has a brilliant reputation for training and working with user of services using solution focused approaches. It will be held at:
Birmingham City University, City South Campus, Westbourne Road, Edgbaston, B15 3TN
On Friday 14thJune the conference will open with a keynote address from Stephen Conlon and Dr. Dean-David Holyoake titled “Evolution: stories, language and relationships” – a collection of 5 short works exploring relationships, language contextuality, constructionism and existence in emotional helping.
We will have workshops around the theme of Evolution from innovative, inspiring and experienced practitioners from the fields of therapy, coaching and consultancy, all keen to share their evolving practice including Rob Black, Guy Shennan, Carolyn Emanuel, Steve Flatt, Dr. Suzi Curtis, Steve Freeman, Chris Iveson, Frances Masters, Dr. Mark McKergow, Susanne Simms, Janine Waldman, Paul Z Jackson, John Wheeler, Greg Vinnicombe, Clive Whittaker & Dr. Paul Birley
