Rental Agreement

Change Room Rental Agreement
This is a binding agreement between Change Birmingham Brief Therapy and the practitioner/professional who would like to rent the therapy rooms for private practice or to run small training courses. Change reserve the right to offer sessions to their own counsellors in the first instance.

It has been agreed that…………………………………… will use room……….. for the purpose of …………………………………………………………………………………………….
This will be on a weekly/monthly/ad hoc basis starting from or on this date………………………
Payment will be made via Change invoice at the end of each month or at the end of the course and the amount agreed is………………………………
Frequency and dates of sessions can be changed with notification to Change Birmingham Brief Therapy.

Change agrees to:

1) Offer a clean, safe, confidential environment for the practitioner and client to work in.
2) Provide a receptionist who will meet and greet clients, arrange invoices, payments for rooms and client appointments.
3) To notify the practitioner/professional of any correspondence to them sent to Change and to keep it safe and confidential until it can be collected.
4) To give at least 24 hrs notice wherever possible of building closures due to bad weather etc.
5) Give one month’s notice if rooms are no longer being used for rental purposes.
6) In the case of training courses, offer the use of projector, whiteboard, refreshments and photocopying for a small fee.
7) Deal with any complaints and grievances in line with the Change complaints policy (attached).

The practitioner/professional agrees to:

1) Respect all furniture and fittings and to leave the rooms as they were found.
2) To inform Change if they need to cancel the session. At least 24 hrs notice is needed otherwise Change may still charge for the room.
3) To provide their own resources and do their own administration.
4) Pay half the room rental if a client DNA’s.
5) Pay their invoice either when they see their client or at the end of each month. Failure to pay will result in Change withdrawing the room rental. Change do not accept credit or debit cards.
6) Be fully responsible for the health and safety of their clients/course participant. Change are not responsible for damage to personal property. All bags and coats are left at the clients own risk.
7) To provide up to date DBS, indemnity insurance, evidence of Professional body membership, qualifications.

Change do not offer a telephone answering service, email or an administration service.
